Job Description
Experienced Machinist
- Melbourne Engineering workshop
Our client is a well-established family business with decades of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and machine building solutions.
Role:
As a Machinist at our client’s company, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of materials and machinery. Your responsibilities will include creating a variety of components and spare parts using different materials. This includes leveraging our recent investment in new CNC and manual lathes:
- Centre lathes to 6m centres
- NC Milling Machines
- Large Vertical Boring
- CNC Lathes
- CNC Machining centre 6m x 2m
Candidate Requirements:
– Hold Australian recognized trade qualifications and certificates.
– Have proven skills and experience relevant to the role.
– Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
– Possess a strong understanding of industry standards and occupational health and safety practices.
– Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
– While experience with CNC machining is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
